Yoga has many obvious benefits: it can improve flexibility, strength and mood, but there is another good reason why men in old age should take the lead: a better sex.
Jacquie Noelle Greaux, a yoga teacher and acupressure therapist, has been doing practical research for over a decade, and here’s a quick routine you can try at home.

1 The board
Do it .Lie down on the floor, face down, like you’re going to do a push-up. Stay on your feet, take a deep breath, then exhale pushing until your arms are straight. Try to stretch your body as much as you can while keeping it as straight as a plank. Hold that position for 30 seconds.
Sexual Benefits: lengthens the spine and strengthens the shoulders and lower back muscles, while toning the abdominals and the genital nucleus (pelvis and perineum).
The Greaux versionPut yourself in the board position and ask your partner to lie down, climb up and down to meet you.

2 The dog up
Do it .Start as you would with the board, except this time, stay balanced on the top of your feet. Straighten your arms, bend your back, and push your torso upwards. The only thing that touches your mat should be the palms of your hands and the top of your feet. Hold that position for 30 seconds.

3 The butterfly
Do it .In the sitting position, bring the soles of your feet close together. Place your fingers around your feet. Inhale and stretch so that the top of your head is facing the ceiling and your chin is facing downwards. Then exhale and press your arms and elbows on top of your thighs or knees. Keep your abdomen hollow (pull your belly button towards your spine). Breathe normally and hold for 30 seconds.

4 Relaxing
Do it .Stand on all fours, lower your buttocks to your heels and put your head on the ground, let your arms rest alongside your body with your palms (near your feet) facing the ceiling, breathe deeply and press your belly against your thighs. Hold for a minute.
