The music echoed in my ears as the warmth of the people, the neon lights and the laughter filled the room. I was in the center of it all, enjoying the frantic energy of the night, feeling free, as if time had stopped. The dance floor was my stage, and I was the protagonist, every movement a reflection of my desires to live fully.

My name is Zammy, and at the age of 21, nightlife was my refuge, my escape. Every weekend, the routine was the same: dinner with my friends, laughter, a few drinks to get my legs going, and then the sound of the party enveloped us in a whirlwind of electronic music and flashing lights. What more could I ask for? Sometimes I thought the world of the night was the only one that understood who I really was

But that night, something in the air was different. Maybe the fact that the disco was fuller than ever, or maybe the intensity of the eyes crossed on me, as I moved on the track, but a strange sensation ran through my skin.. It was too perfect to be real, but I let myself go like never before. My friends, as always, at my side, but this time, my eyes fell on a boy who kept looking at me from the other side of the bar.

There was something fascinating about him, something that attracted me.. It wasn't the type of person I usually connected with, but there was something about his presence that unsettled me.. We crossed paths several times on the dance floor, until finally, he approached me.. — "I think I know you from somewhere?" he said, with a slight smile.. It wasn't the typical question a boy would ask at a party, but his calm tone made me laugh.. — "I don't think. And you? — I replied, intrigued.. At that moment, the music lowered, and the conversation between us flowed amidst the lights and the crowd that surrounded us.

He introduced himself as Álex, a boy recently arrived in town. We talked about life, about what each of us hoped to find in those fleeting moments, those moments of pleasure that the endless nights offered us.. We told each other our stories, our darkest secrets and our wildest dreams, as if this connection was the only thing that mattered.. The night went on, but now the euphoria had turned into something deeper.. The music kept vibrating, but I wasn't there just for the party anymore. I was looking for something I couldn't even name. Álex and I moved away from the track, we walked through the dark streets of the city. Between laughter and discussions, we arrived in a secluded corner, where the moon lit our faces. There, away from the crowds, it was where the night game turned into something more real

We kissed, and in that kiss, I understood something I had never envisaged: the night was not only filled with ephemeral pleasures, but with moments that could change your life. The next day, I woke up alone, not really knowing how I got back to bed. The feeling of that night remained in me, like an indelible imprint, but it also left a void that I had never felt before..
