Hey there guys! It's Reyna, and I'm so excited to share a little piece of my world with you. You see, once upon a time, I was a tiny ballerina, twirling and leaping across the stage with dreams as big as my tutu. Ballet was my happy place, a world where every plié and pirouette felt like a magical escape.

As a little girl, I couldn't get enough of the graceful movements and the enchanting music that filled the dance studio. Ballet wasn't just a hobby for me; it was my passion, my heart and soul poured into each arabesque and tendu. Those were the days when my biggest worry was perfecting my turnout and remembering all the steps to my favorite routine.

But, you know how life loves to throw curveballs? Well, it threw me a doozy. A twisted ankle during practice turned my ballet dreams into a temporary nightmare. I could no longer dance with the same effortless joy that had once defined me. The doctor's verdict was clear: my ballet career was on pause. It was heartbreaking, to say the least. No more pointe shoes, no more grand jetés. My world felt a little less colorful without the swirl of tutus and the echo of music in my ears.

Fast forward to today, and you'll find me still dancing, though not on a grand stage. The injury might have slowed me down, but it didn't break my spirit. I've traded the spotlight for a more intimate space—my living room. Every morning, I lace up my sneakers and put on some soothing melodies. It's not the same as the stage lights and the applause, but it's my way of staying connected to the little ballerina inside me.

Staying in shape hasn't been easy, but it's been worth every plank and stretch. My flexibility might not be what it once was, but there's a newfound strength that comes with adapting and overcoming. Some days are tougher than others, and I miss the camaraderie of fellow dancers, but the joy of movement is still there. It's a different kind of dance—one that celebrates resilience and determination.

Life may have pirouetted me in a direction I didn't expect, but I've learned to find the beauty in every twist and turn. Ballet will always be a part of who I am, and while my journey may have taken an unexpected detour, I'm still dancing through life with a heart full of gratitude and a body that refuses to forget the joy of movement.
