Okay. So. I was supposed to clean my kitchen two days ago. But then I heard a cat yelling from somewhere outside like it had just lost its entire family fortune, and obviously I couldn’t just ignore that, right? Long story short, I ended up barefoot in the courtyard, standing under a tree, trying to negotiate with a cat who clearly had zero trust in my leadership skills.

This orange fluffball was perched dramatically on a branch like it was in some feline version of Titanic, meowing like the world was ending. Meanwhile, I’m there in pajama shorts and one sock, shaking a packet of tuna like a lunatic. A neighbor walked by with groceries and just nodded like, “Yep, Mia’s doing her thing again.” The cat eventually climbed down, insulted my efforts with a single glance, and still ate the tuna. Rude, but I respect the hustle. 

If I had more space (and fewer bills), I swear I’d turn my apartment into a rescue palace. Stray cats, dogs, emotionally unstable pigeons — all welcome. But since I can’t, I do what I can. Food here, cuddles there. There’s this one dog that follows me on my late-night walks — I call him Sergei. He doesn’t really listen to me, but he vibes with my chaotic energy, so we get along.

Also, I’ve been rewatching Brooklyn Nine-Nine because my brain needed something fast-paced and ridiculous to keep up with it. ADHD is a wild ride — one moment I'm deeply researching the history of cinnamon, the next I’m suddenly reorganizing my sock drawer at 2AM. My attention span is like a raccoon on espresso. But sitcoms help. They’re predictable in the best way. Comforting chaos, like me. 

I went for a walk yesterday with absolutely no plan and ended up in a tiny street I swear I’ve never seen before. Found a cafe that makes weird lavender coffee (verdict: 6/10, but the cup was cute). I think that’s what I like most — just letting life surprise me a little. Not everything needs to be a five-year plan. Sometimes it’s okay to follow a cat’s scream out the window and end up with a new story to tell.
