I remember the first day I saw the sea like it was yesterday. It was a mix of emotions that I didn't know how to control. I had heard so many stories about the immensity of the ocean, but none prepared me for what I felt when I saw it with my own eyes.. Salty air hit my face as soon as I got out of the car. The wind, warm and refreshing at the same time, played with my hair, gently tangling it. I walked barefoot to the shore, feeling the soft, warm sand slipping between my fingers. It was as if the earth itself embraced me as I moved towards that huge blue expanse that seemed to have no end. When the cold water touched my feet for the first time, a chill went through my body. I stood still, surprised by the feeling, as if the sea welcomed me. I looked out over the horizon, and for a moment, I felt small, but at the same time immensely connected to something much bigger than myself. The waves came one after another, breaking gently near me, and each brought with it a murmur, as if the ocean spoke to me in an ancient and deep language.. I dared to walk further in, letting the water rise up my legs. I felt every wave washed away my worries, my fears. There was something deeply liberating about that experience. I closed my eyes and let myself be carried away by the sound of the sea, by its constant rhythm, which, somehow, made me feel at peace. That first time at sea was magical, not only because I was discovering something new, but because I discovered myself in that space.. The sea taught me to let go, to flow with the unknown. Since that day, whenever I see him, I feel like I'm meeting an old friend again.
