There are places that do not seek, but find us. Sometimes it is enough to follow the sound of water, the sunshine filtering through the leaves, or simply that inner impulse that invites us to move away from the daily noise.. That day, sitting on the warm rocks and surrounded by the silent force of nature, I felt something I had not experienced for a long time: a deep, real rest, of those that caress you inside.. The scene was perfect. The water flowed gently, forming a small emerald green cove that reflected the midday light.. The rocks, shaped by years and years of time and current, seemed almost a seat made to measure, an exclusive corner to breathe and observe. The breeze moved the leaves of the tall trees, and every shade of green seemed more alive under the clear sky.. As I sat there, letting the sun warm my skin, I felt every part of me loosen. There was no rush, no pending, there was no need to be anything but a person enjoying the moment. The most beautiful thing was the feeling of freedom. Being there, surrounded by huge rocks and trees that seemed to touch the sky, gave me a different perspective.. Everything that usually occupies the mind, worries, plans, doubts was diluted with every minute that passed.. The body was resting, but it was the mind that really seemed to recover.. That corner became a little shelter, a reminder of all the simple things that usually save us: the sun on the skin, the water running nearby, a landscape that demands nothing in return.. And although time always pushes to continue, part of me wanted to stay a little longer. Maybe because every stone, every leaf and every ray of light seemed to say the same thing: you are here, breathe, enjoy it.. I returned with the certainty of having lived a special moment. It was not a big event, there was no noise or shows; just the pure presence of nature and the opportunity to feel fully alive between rocks and water.. And those are, without a doubt, the moments that most stay with us.
