Celebrity Sexy Italy 2025
February 2025
This new study is part of the continuity of other surveys conducted by Discurv on Italians and sexuality, as well as Italy's sexiest celebrities.
Tennis clearly dominates with Berrettini as the clear leader. Athletics is well represented, probably due to the visibility of Jacobs and Tamberi after the Olympics.
Soccer, despite being the most popular sport in Italy, does not have a big favorite in this ranking, although Buffon is present with 7%.
Some celebrities have a much stronger appeal among women. Matteo Berrettini (Tennis) and Gianmarco Tamberi (Athletics) are widely favored by women. Other athletes, such as Buffon or
Paltrinieri, have a more balanced distribution. Men are more divided and do not show a clear preference for a specific athlete.
Tennis is perceived as the sport with the most fascinating athletes (Berrettini and, to a lesser extent, Sinner). Athletics follows due to a strong recent media presence (Tamberi, Jacobs, Tortu).
Contrary to expectations, soccer does not dominate this ranking, although Buffon remains a respected figure. Attractiveness varies widely by gender and age, with a preference
female more pronounced for some celebrities.

Federica Pellegrini is perceived as the most glamorous female athlete in Italy because of her strong image and successful career.
Individual sports (swimming, skiing, tennis) are more represented than team sports.
Media notoriety is a key factor. Pellegrini and Goggia are well-known figures in Italy and dominate widely. Individual sports have a greater impact in perceived
of attractiveness than team sports.

emblematic of Italian sports.
Fifteen percent of respondents did not choose any female athletes, a lower rate than men (22%).
Media notoriety and longevity in the film industry are key factors. Raoul Bova and Luca Argentero are the seduction references in contemporary Italian cinema.

have marked the history of Italian cinema.

Damiano David is a predictable choice, his rebellious image and charisma have won a wide audience.
Damiano David is the singer perceived as the sexiest in Italy, followed by Marco Mengoni and Achille Lauro.
Rebellious and modern image attracts the most. Damiano David and Achille Lauro embody this phenomenon.Historic singers such as Eros Ramazzotti are still present, but they are losing
ground to new figures.
The attractiveness of singers varies by age and gender of respondents. Young people prefer contemporary artists, while older people prefer iconic figures from the past.
People aged 66+ show a high percentage of “none of these celebrities,” suggesting less identification with the selected artists.

Elodie largely dominates, confirming her status as a glamour icon in Italy. Annalisa and Rose Villain follow, thanks to their modern image and strong media presence.
The more established singers of the past, such as Laura Pausini and Giorgia, are still present, but less relevant in terms of attractiveness.
The low rate of “none of these celebrities” (6 percent) indicates clear public identification with the proposed figures.
The ratings are predominantly male, confirming that these singers primarily attract a male audience. Elodie and Annalisa have a strong preference from men, reinforcing their role as glamorous icons. Some singers, such as Giorgia and Laura Pausini, enjoy a more balanced support between men and women.
People aged 66+ are more likely to not vote for any female singer, a sign of greater distance from contemporary musical figures.

In sports, athletes with strong media exposure and natural charisma dominate preferences.

- Damiano David, Achille Lauro, Elodie, Annalisa, Stefano De Martino, and Diletta Leotta dominate among the youth.

- Eros Ramazzotti, Laura Pausini, Monica Bellucci, Raoul Bova, and Federica Pellegrini enjoy strong support among those aged 50–65 and 66+.
- Historical icons maintain their charm, but their popularity decreases among younger audiences.
Age heavily influences preferences, creating a contrast between modernity and tradition.

Among women, athletes with strong media presence stand out:

Some categories have well-established figures that garner broad consensus:
- Monica Bellucci, Raoul Bova, and Luca Argentero are benchmarks in terms of seduction.
Other categories show a high abstention rate (votes for "none of these celebrities"):
- Male singers suffer from a lack of consensus, with 20% of respondents not choosing anyone.
- Female athletes and some television personalities are less recognized.
Some seduction figures are timeless, while other categories lack unifying icons.

- Young people favor modern and bold figures.
- Older generations remain attached to traditional icons.
Men and women have different perceptions of seduction:
- Men vote for glamorous and highly publicized figures.
