I have never understood why some people feel they have to choose only one version of themselves..

I like to think that I am many things at the same time..

I can spend hours practicing ballet, striving for each movement to feel clean, elegant, and almost perfect. I love that feeling of controlling even the smallest detail, of listening to my breath while everything around me disappears and only the music, the body, and the moment exist. Ballet taught me discipline, patience, and that true elegance never needs to make noise..

But there's also another part of me that lives a completely different life..

The one that turns up the volume, changes the room's lighting, and lets the music take control.. I love those intense, electronic, industrial sounds, the bass that seems to go right through your chest, and the songs that don't try to sound pretty, but instead try to make you feel something.. Some people listen to music to relax; I listen to it to wake up.. It's impossible for me to stay still when I find a song that really connects with me.. My body starts to move before my head has time to think about it..

I think that's where I am most myself..

Many people are surprised when they find out what kind of music I listen to.. I suppose they expect something completely different from me based on my appearance.. I find that contrast amusing because I have never tried to fit into a single aesthetic.. I like to feel feminine, to play with my clothes, my hairstyles, and the small details that make each day feel different.. There are days when I want to look delicate, other days when I feel like something more daring, and other days when I simply mix things together because I enjoy experimenting.. I have never felt that I had to choose between one thing and another..

I'm very visual.

I can fall in love with a combination of colors, a photograph, a light coming through the window, or a beautiful corner in any place. I like to surround myself with things that inspire me. My space is constantly changing because I always find a new idea, a different detail, or something that makes me think: "this definitely has to be here." I don't like feeling that everything stays the same for too long..

I am also impulsive..

I start by organizing a corner and end up reorganizing the whole room. I look for a song and end up discovering a new artist. I start practicing a choreography and, without realizing it, hours pass. When something sparks my curiosity, I give it my full attention. I think that's one of the reasons why I'm never bored..

There are people who function according to schedules..

When an idea comes to me, I need to follow it. Sometimes it appears while I'm getting ready, other times while I'm dancing, or even while I'm listening to music with my eyes closed. My imagination never rests too much, and although sometimes that means having a thousand things open at the same time, it also makes each day feel different..

I have a very changeable energy. I can be completely calm, enjoying a conversation, and five minutes later, start laughing because I remembered something absurd, or because a song made me get up from the chair. I like that part of me. I think it makes life much more fun..

I really enjoy talking to authentic people. I'm not interested in those who are constantly trying to impress others. I prefer to gradually discover what makes someone different. The music they listen to, the things that excite them, the things they could talk about for hours without getting bored. I believe that's where we really get to know people..

I don't usually hide what I feel. When something excites me, it probably shows on my face before I say a single word. I make a lot of expressions, I talk with my hands, I laugh loudly, and if I feel comfortable, I'm sure I'll start joking a lot. I like that confidence that appears when two people stop trying to seem perfect..

I also have a small problem with accessories. I always find one more that I "need," even though I clearly don't need it. Hair ties, hair accessories, makeup, small things that simply make me happy. I like to play with my image because I see it as another way to express myself. Just like dance or music..

I believe my personality is full of contrasts. The delicacy of ballet perfectly coexists with the intensity of electronic music. Discipline with spontaneity. Calmness with that energy that appears when a song manages to speed up my heart. I have never felt that these parts clash with each other; on the contrary, they are what make me feel completely myself..

I don't try to appear mysterious or different. I simply enjoy discovering new ways to express myself and surrounding myself with people who also dare to be themselves. I like to think that every conversation, every song, and every moment leaves a small mark. In the end, it's those small things that end up shaping who we are..

And if there's one thing I've learned, it's that the best version of a person never appears when they're trying to impress others. It appears when they find the right rhythm, and simply decide to dance..
