On the warm sand, between sun cream and mojito, a man observes. There she is. In a two-piece swimsuit. Tanned legs. Sunglasses. Book in hand. Detached air. He wonders: \u00a0\u00bb What\u2019s she thinking?\u00a0\u00bb<\/b><\/p>\n

Maybe she\u2019s waiting for a guy like him?<\/strong><\/span><\/a> Maybe she\u2019s spotted him? Maybe she\u2019s already imagining him inviting her for a drink, or better still, a swim.<\/p>\n

Calm down, James Bond. Reality is often less romanticized than that. But more interesting too.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udcad The female brain by the sea: deep-sea diving<\/b><\/h2>\n

Let\u2019s get right to it. Here are 10<\/b> realistic thoughts<\/b> a woman might have on the beach\u2026 And spoiler: you, dude sneaking a peek at her, only appear in 2 or 3 cases max<\/b>.<\/p>\n

1. \u00ab\u00a0Does this bathing suit make my ass look fat?\u00a0\u00bb<\/b><\/h3>\n

Yes, even the most confident think about it. The beach is a social mirror. Exposed, compared, scrutinized. She doubts. Even slightly.
\nAnd given that almost<\/b>one woman in two (46%)* has already given up wearing certain outfits on the beach<\/b>, we understand that the simple choice of swimsuit is far from trivial.<\/p>\n

According to an OpinionWay study for Selectour, 90% of women under 35<\/strong> admit to spending most of their time on the beach comparing their looks to those of other women<\/strong>. The flat belly of the tall blonde in the water, the bountiful buttocks of the pin-up in the red swimsuit<\/strong><\/span><\/a>\u2026 Yes, the grass is always greener elsewhere! In fact, half of all women under 35 consider themselves less attractive than their towel-mates.<\/p>\n

Fortunately, with age comes serenity: after 35, only 70% make such comparisons<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

And what about men? Do they scrupulously study their neighbors\u2019 abs? Not at all! 88%<\/strong> of them admit to preferring to focus on the looks of holidaymakers<\/strong>. Only one man in three admits to comparing himself to others on the beach, without feeling too self-conscious about it. Two-thirds of them don\u2019t blush at the sight of the beach playboys.<\/p>\n

2. \u00ab\u00a0I <\/b>hope I <\/b>got the cream right on my back\u2026\u00a0\u00bb<\/b><\/h3>\n
