After the doubts of new couples<\/strong><\/span><\/a> on the attitude to adopt for this intimate moment, the new resolutions of unfaithful seem far removed from such considerations. In fact, for those who like to flutter about, the start of the new year seems to increase the desire for adultery tenfold. But who can blame them? New year, new encounter, logic. To give you a better idea, on Monday January 9, 2019, Gleeden saw a 430% boom in registrations. The following year, on January 11, 2020, they rose to 480%. On Monday, January 11, 2021, there was a slight drop, but the increase was still 220%. Let\u2019s not forget the Covid period, which certainly played a part, so this result remains impressive. We don\u2019t have the figures for 2022 or 2023, but it will be interesting to watch this Monday, January 8, 2024, to see what happens.<\/p>\n

And based on the 18,782 responses given to the survey by Gleeden members in December 2021, 91% said they would connect more in January. Many justify this desire by the need to evacuate stress and regain their freedom<\/strong><\/span><\/a> after a month devoted to the family (51%), while others simply want something new (34%). Perhaps the most surprising reason is that the festive season makes men more open to new experiences (28%).<\/p>\n

So if you\u2019re looking to broaden your horizons, you now know which day is the best time to meet new people. But perhaps you already knew and had even anticipated this period by giving your lover a Christmas present. On the other hand, only a third would spend more than 200\u20ac. I\u2019m thinking that 5 \u00e0 7s must be really good to be spoiled like that!<\/p>\n

Yes, I\u2019ll give you the answer! Don\u2019t be so impatient! Unfaithful men aren\u2019t very original and always go for jewelry, accessories, lingerie, \u2026 Always appreciated, that said, but a bit of novelty in the ideas would also be welcome. As for their wives, they\u2019re more interested in books, skincare products, household appliances, etc. In short, nothing very fun. What\u2019s more, if you\u2019re planning to give your new partner nothing, but she\u2019s thought of you, you\u2019re in trouble. So you might as well talk it over openly and find out what you both want. It\u2019ll save you an awkward moment.<\/p>\n

Alternatively, you can rely on a study by Meetic which states that over 80% of singles would be delighted to receive a Christmas present from their new relationship (i.e. less than 6 months old). It doesn\u2019t have to be a huge gift. It\u2019s the thought that counts. After that, the real question to ask yourself is: do you want to give her something? This will guide you in your choice.<\/p>\n

How to choose the right gift? <\/strong><\/b><\/h3>\n

You\u2019ve made up your mind and taken the plunge. Okay. But what to give? Think pleasure and fun \/ or well-being. If the dating platform is to be believed, 57% of those questioned would opt for an experience for two (shows, weekends, restaurants, treatments, etc.). For 30% of those polled, a symbolic gift would suffice, as a nod to their relationship. More surprisingly, 23% would like a customized present, such as a personalized product, and 22% would prefer an intimate gift (lingerie, beauty, skincare, etc.). If you want to be more original, like a parachute jump or a dog, only 10% will be satisfied!<\/p>\n
