Let’s talk statistics and scientific data! A vast study conducted by ZAVA in 2016 among 2,000 people (1,060 men and 940 women) in the United States and Europe sheds light on a subject that raises a lot of questions. You won’t know which “breast” to choose!

Today, we’re going to talk about a subject that’s still the subject of much debate: the ideal breast size. This question, which is as old as the hills, continues to provoke passionate discussion in magazines, on social networks and even in doctors’ surgeries. And believe me, the results of this study will surprise many!

The first interesting finding: men’s and women’s preferences are surprisingly aligned, contradicting the idea that men and women have radically different visions of beauty. The study shows a majority preference for medium proportions in most European countries, including France. A result that confirms that natural beauty still has a long way to go!

Do men prefer big breasts? Not true!

Here’s the first revelation to break down a lot of clichés: men, you’re not as obsessed with XXL cups as you might think! The Zava study reveals that the majority of men consider the C cup to be ideal. 60.4% of women and 53.6% of men consider the C cup to be ideal. Yes, you read that right: out with the excessive fantasies, moderation is in!

This preference for harmonious rather than excessive proportions reflects a change in mentality. Of course, 35.3% of men prefer a D cup, compared with 30.5% of women who share this preference. Further proof that the clichés of adult films don’t necessarily reflect the reality of male desires!

A fascinating tour of Europe’s preferences

Let’s take a little trip across Europe – it’s getting interesting! France, true to its reputation as the country of the middle ground, favors the C cup. A choice that perhaps reflects our culture of “neither too much nor too little”! We note that British, Belgian and French women have an ideal in line with reality, or more precisely with the average cup size declared in their country. This means that women in these regions are often satisfied with their appearance, an essential factor in personal well-being.

In other countries, on the other hand – notably Austria, Germany, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and the USA – reality falls slightly short of expectations. In the majority of cases, respondents idealize a C cup, whereas the average declared size is a B cup.

But not all our neighbors are of the same opinion! Poles and Hungarians, for example, prefer the B cup. This diversity of preferences between countries reminds us that beauty standards are profoundly influenced by local culture. Tastes and colors know no borders

Cosmetic surgery: the figures that make you wonder

Let’s talk numbers (and not measurements): France ranks 5th in the world with over 85,652 breast operations in 2015. Impressive, isn’t it? But here’s the most surprising: while 55% concern breast augmentations, 21% are… reductions! Yes, bigger isn’t always better. These figures show that the quest for well-being sometimes involves reduction rather than augmentation. The advantage of this concordance between dream and reality lies in the fact that more than eight out of ten women (84.8%) with a C cup say they are satisfied with their breasts. This satisfaction rate also rises to 72% for women with a B cup.

The United States remains the all-round champion, with over 540,000 operations in 2015. France, on the other hand, accounts for “only” 3.1% of global operations. A far cry from the cliché of the French woman obsessed with cosmetic surgery! These statistics remind us that, despite social pressure, the majority of women choose to keep their natural appearance.

Satisfaction: the real sexy!

Here’s the best news of all: 84% of C-cup women are satisfied with their breasts. And even for other sizes, the satisfaction rate remains above 50%. This pleasing statistic dispels the myth of eternal female dissatisfaction!

For couples, it’s even more encouraging: 70% of partners say they are satisfied with their other half’s breasts. A message for the anxious: stop worrying, your partner probably loves you just the way you are! These figures confirm that true love goes far beyond mere physical criteria.

The risks of surgery: a reality not to be overlooked

A quick reminder: cosmetic surgery is not a harmless act. Remember the PIP prosthesis scandal: over 14,000 women had to undergo preventive explantation. This sad affair reminds us that the quest for “perfection” can sometimes have dramatic consequences. So before giving in to the siren call of the scalpel, think twice and consult qualified professionals!

Fashion changes, your value remains

When Vogue dared to declare that “cleavage and large breasts are no longer in fashion”, readers were quick to react! And they’re right: your body isn’t a fashion accessory that changes with the seasons, whether you’re a man or a woman.

Because let’s face it, the need for a “glow up” in men is becoming more and more pressing. We’re seeing the emergence of all kinds of Youtube tutorials for makeup or the latest design or clothing trends. You can’t escape it either. This aesthetic pressure, long reserved for women, is now affecting men too, proof that times are changing… not always for the better!

A final word

Trust is your best asset… So, what does this study tell us? That diversity is the norm, that the majority of people are satisfied with their partners, and that the most important thing is personal well-being. True seduction isn’t measured in centimetres or letters of the alphabet!

So, gentlemen, the next time a woman asks you if her breasts are to your liking, remember those numbers… or better still, remind her that it was her smile, her personality and her self-confidence that made you fall for her! After all, isn’t that the very essence of seduction?
