Virginie Efira is a French-Belgian actress, born on May 5, 1977 in Schaerbeek (Greater Brussels). She began her career as a presenter on Belgian television. Television host from 1998 to 2008, she began her acting career in 2004. On the silver screen, she is best known as the lead in romantic comedies: L’amour c’est mieux à deux (2010), La Chance de ma vie (2011), 20 ans d’écart (2013), Le Goût des merveilles (2015) and Un homme à la hauteur (2016).
She then took a dramatic turn with the title role in the independent film Victoria (2016), directed by Justine Triet, which earned her a César nomination for Best Actress. The Belgian-born actress admits that she has always been attracted to the silver screen. And it’s safe to say she’s done well to pursue her dream. A discreet love life
Like many successful women, her personal life has not always been a smooth ride. The Franco-Belgian actress married producer Patrick Ridremont in 2002, from whom she subsequently separated in 2005. But the couple didn’t officially divorce until 2009, not without tackling this oddity on TV with divorce papers on a comedy show.
