An early ambition
Born on April 8, 1966 in Dallas, Robin Wright was just 2 years old when her parents, Freddie and Gayle, separated. Mother and daughter moved to San Diego, California. Very independent, Robin chose modeling at the age of 14 as a way to emancipate herself. Her mother, a cosmetics representative, worked hard to maintain a comfortable lifestyle for Robin and her brother. In 1983, she offered her daughter, who had just graduated from high school, a trip to Europe. Robin, enchanted by Paris, decided to stay and worked for the Paris Planning agency, which housed her at La Muette, in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. And she still loves the classic style of French fashion designers, notably Gérard Darel, whose muse she once was.
After graduating from high school, she moved to Paris to work at the Paris Planning agency, posing for beauty and lingerie catalogs. Back in California, she landed a role in the Santa Barbara series at the age of 18.
The star actress met Sean Penn on the set of the film Angels of the Night, and married him in 1996. They had two children and lived happily together for 20 years before divorcing in 2010. In between, Robin Wright had adventures with other men before officially getting engaged to Ben Foster, 15 years her junior, in 2015 becoming a famous milf.
