Britney Spears once told Marie Claire UK that, despite her superstar status, dating can be a real challenge. But that doesn’t mean she hasn’t had her fair share of romances. While some of us still can’t seem to forget the young love Britney and Justin Timberlake shared, you may have forgotten that she also dated former Hollywood bad boy Colin Farrell and even married her high school boyfriend Jason Alexander.
During her “Carpool Karaoke” session with James Corden in August 2016, the singer declared, “I don’t think I could ever date or get married again. I’m just done with them… I’m not going to marry anyone. No, I don’t believe in marriage anymore. “Well, it seems Britney has had a turnaround, as she has since struck up a romantic relationship with one of her dancers and sports coach for over two years.
1 – Justin Timberlake
After meeting on the set of The Mickey Mouse Club as children, Britney and Justin began dating in 1999, although they didn’t go public with their romance until a year later. Sadly, the two lovebirds split in 2002 following rumors that Britney had cheated on him with choreographer and frequent collaborator Wade Robson.
2 – Wade Robson
Shortly after her split with Justin, Britney began a relationship with her choreographer, although several sources have claimed that the two met while she was dating Justin. Britney and Wade maintained a relationship for about a year before calling it quits in 2002.
3 – Colin Farrell
In 2003, Britney had a brief fling with the former Hollywood bad boy. The stars only dated for a short time, and Colin declared that he was “just a single 26-year-old guy having a good time”.
4 – Fred Durst
While Britney denies having had a relationship with the Limp Bizkit singer, Fred is said to have met Britney in 2003. During this period, Fred spoke out about their romance on his band’s website, claiming that he “never felt that way”. However, Britney told Glamour UK that the relationship was one-sided, adding, “He said some pretty amazing things about me, but, uh, I think he dove in too deep, too fast.” In 2009, Fred told MTV News again, “It became a crazy fiasco. [But] I always stay true to my heart and everything I’ve done and my intentions, and I’m in no way a liar. ”
5 – Jason Alexander
The “Gimme More” singer married her high-school boyfriend at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas in 2004, but the wedding was called off after just 55 hours.
6 – Kevin Federline
Six months after annulling her marriage to Jason, Britney then hooked up with her backup dancer, who was still married to actress Shar Jackson at the time. After a few months in 2004, the duo tied the knot in a surprise unofficial ceremony… The couple had two sons together, Jayden James and Sean Preston, and even hosted their own reality show on UPN, Britney and Kevin: Chaotic. However, as Britney’s career deteriorated, the couple eventually separated in October 2006, although their divorce was not finalized until July 2007.
7 – Adnan Ghalib
In the midst of her public crisis in 2007, Britney shocked fans when she began dating photographer Adnan Ghalib. Their relationship lasted just a year and officially ended when Britney filed a restraining order against him, claiming he was conspiring to take control of her affairs. In 2012, Adnan testified in a lawsuit between Britney’s former manager, Sam Lutfi, and his family, claiming Britney’s mother once tried to coerce him, saying, “She demanded I tell [the media] Sam Lutfi was responsible for Britney Spears’ behavior. “The photographer also admitted that a judge had ordered him to stay away from the singer for three years.
8 – Jason Trawick
Britney began dating her former manager in early 2009. The two got engaged in December 2011. The singer confirmed the news with a special tweet, writing, “OMG. Last night Jason surprised me with the gift I’ve been waiting for. Can’t wait to show it to you! ” (big jewel). Sadly, they parted ways in January 2013. Britney said, “Jason and I have decided to call off our engagement. I’ll always adore him and we’ll remain great friends.”
9 – David Lucado
A few months after her separation from Jason, Britney was photographed with a new man. He was later identified as David Lucado. David was a normal guy from the South. But Britney apparently confirmed their split in August 2014. She then tweeted an enigmatic status that read, “Ahhhh the single life!”
10 – Charlie Ebersol
In 2014, the mother of two began dating Charlie, a TV producer from a Hollywood family. Britney confirmed the romance by sharing adorable photos of the two on Instagram. As well as making their red carpet debut at the Billboard Music Awards. But their relationship ended eight months later.
11 – Sam Asghari
Britney Spears first met the dancer on the set of her “Slumber Party” video in 2016. Although it’s hard to say when the two officially started dating, the couple apparently confirmed their romance in November 2016. Sam posted a photo on Instagram of a romantic sushi dinner. Since then, Sam and Britney have shared some cute moments, including a fashion show in Los Angeles and a stylish night out at a pre-Grammys party. On his Instagram account, there are several videos of the couple doing bodyweight exercises together. Sam Asghari is Britney Spears’ daily “source of motivation and inspiration”. She feels lucky to be part of his life. Happiness well deserved!
