Here’s a subject that unleashes male passions: women and big cars. The most famous of calendars, Pirelli, delights us every year with its artistic photos, which blend sensuality, eroticism and beauty. And once again this year, Scottish photographer Albert Watson has graced us with his talents to sublimate this almanac, which takes pride of place in every self-respecting man’s home.
To round off the year in style, Modern Milf gives you a sneak preview of the contents of the Pirelli calendar, sure to make you drool with envy and fill your dreams with the wildest fantasies. For this 46th edition, Pirelli has entrusted the production of its calendar to Scottish photographer Albert Watson. This is the first time he has taken part in the“Cal“, an idea initiated by the tiremaker’s marketing division in 1964.
An honor for elected representatives
Honored by this request, the photographer wanted to give another dimension to the calendar, as he states in an interview:
“When I approached this project, I wanted to go about it in a different way to other photographers,” explains the author. “I wanted to go beyond simple portraits, I had in mind to make each shot a cinematic ‘freeze frame'”.
With 4 women and 3 men in the cast, the 40 16:9 format shots (some in black and white) feature characters you’re sure to recognize (if nothing else, Modern Milf will remind you!). Produced last April from Miami to New York, the new Pirelli calendar, dubbed Dreaming, spotlights personalities ranging from supermodels Gigi Hadid and Astrid Eika to designer Alexandre Wang, actresses Laetitia Casta and Julia Garner, and renowned dancers Sergei Polounin, Misty Copeland and Calvin Royal III.

It’s a “photographic tale” in which we discover the aspirations of these 4 women “all focused on their future” explains Pirelli. “The idea behind the whole project is that of a story told through four ‘little films'” explains the photographer.
