A childhood in the spotlight
Born in 1971, Charlotte was quickly thrust into the limelight by her father and mother, the legendary couple of the ’70s (among others!). Our beautiful brunette first appeared inElie Chouraqui‘s film Paroles et musique in 1984. That same year, she sang a duet with her father on the song Lemon Incest. Her first album, Charlotte for Ever, was released in 1986. Although she took part in various musical projects in the 90s (Les Enfoirés, Love soundtrack, etc.), the release of 5 :55 in 2006 gave her career a new lease of life.
An acclaimed actress and two-time César winner, she was awarded the Prix d’interprétation féminine at the Cannes Film Festival in 2009 for her performance in Lars von Trier’s Antichrist. In February 2018, she won the Victoire de la Musique award for female artist of the year for her album Rest, released in November 2017.
