Rocco Siffredi is the king of porn. Although he’s considered retired today, he’s no less active behind the camera. Or for collaborations like the Netflix channel. Having left his mark on generations through his “art”, he now shares some of his memoirs with us. And what a memoir it is! From the very first episode, we’re hooked. Even if, personally, the real one is much sexier than the actor playing him.
Netflix devotes some of its videos to erotic themes. And personally, I appreciate it. It gives sex a good deal of space without being vulgar. Everyone learns a bit more about porn culture. The channel also specializes in sex documentaries, as with Show Bouillant, a documentary series with two Koreans who travel around certain countries to discover the habits and customs of each when it comes to sex. It’s quite sociologically instructive.
But back to SuperSex. This series of 7 episodes, each around 40-45 minutes long, sums up the life of the porn star from his childhood to the present day. We discover Rocco Siffredi in a different dimension, as a man rather than an actor. This gives us a better understanding of his background and what led him to embark on such a career. My opinion
I really enjoyed this series, which retraces the life of the famous Italian. The man nicknamed “the world’s biggest dick” by his brother reveals his innermost self through his story. His unwavering love of family and deep respect for women stand out. Rocco Siffredi shows us more of his personality than his “natural” talent. The story is well-realized, and although there are plenty of naked bodies, we’re always in an elegantly erotic mood, never lapsing into vulgarity. Another interesting point is the permanent balance between him and his brother, where it seems that the two can’t be at the bottom or the top together. When one is at the top, the other is at the bottom. A story that hooks you right away.
